An old drawing I did nearly two summers ago as a final project done for my Drawing and Composition class at AAU. The image you see now is actually a day before the final show. The current condition of the piece lost most of the highlighted vapors surrounding the figures. My instructor suggested that it was distracting throughout the piece and was blended completely away. Also the piece was damaged due to ill handling when I tried to get home from BART. Even though the piece doesn't really make sense and the overall composition feels crowded, I sure learned a whole handful from sculpting light with charcoal and light in all its entirety. My deep regards to Adam Caldwell, you are the man.
